The Royal Canadian Mint's release of the 1997 Specimen Coin Set marks the first year the $2 Polar Bear Toonie was added, as well as commemorating the 10th anniversary of the first Loon Dollar issue in 1987 by adding a specially struck Flying Loon design.
All coins are finished in Specimen quality.
