1990-1999 Canadian $20 Aviation Commemorative Silver Coin Series I & II

Canada's aviation heroes and achievements are commemorated in the $20 Aviation Commemorative Silver Coin Series One & Two. Each coin series consists of ten coins issued two per year over ten years. Along with the individual Aviation $20 coin issues, the complete 10-coin set had also been made available. Each design contains a 24-karat gold covered oval cameo portrait of the aviation hero commemorated. All coins are made of sterling silver (92.5% silver) and struck in proof quality. Themes of each set include 1990-1994 Series 1: Powered Flight in Canada: The First 50 Years and 1995-1999 Series 2: Powered Flight in Canada: Beyond World War II
