If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
What information do we collect?
Information on this website is collected in two ways: directly (e.g. when you provide information on various pages of this website) and indirectly (e.g. through our site's technology). This is further explained below. We collect information that you voluntarily submit it to us, e.g. by completing forms on the website. When we collect this type of information, we will notify you as to why we are asking for information and how this information will be used. It is completely up to you whether or not you want to provide it.
The following categories of personal data may be collected: name, contact details and other information that you enter on forms on the website. One example of information we collect indirectly is through our Internet access logs. When you access this website, your Internet address is automatically collected and is placed in our Internet access logs.
How do we use this information?
We use your personal data to maintain this website such as answering your questions, sending information to you regarding any current or future activities of Coins Unlimited. If legally required, we will obtain your permission, before sending you such information. We analyze the data which is collected indirectly to determine what is most effective about our site, to help us identify ways to improve it, and eventually, to determine how we can tailor this website to make it more effective. We may also use data for other purposes, which we would describe to you at the point we collect the information.
Will we share this with outside parties?
Coins Unlimited will not sell individual information and will share it only with our own coin and bullion investment consultants and advisors. There will be other times when we need to share information, for example, in the case of an event where we need to provide our caterer with meal preference information. But again, before you submit any information, we will notify you as to why we are asking for specific information and it is completely up to you whether or not you want to provide it.
We believe it is important to provide added protection for children online.
