The 1986 Canadian Silver Dollar marks the 100th anniversary of the Transcontinental railroad and the centenary of the city of Vancouver, BC. 

 

Design

The coins reverse depicts engine no. 371 and the first transcontinental passenger train with the city of Vancouver in the background. The design is the work of Canadian artist Elliot John Morrison. Struck in brilliant uncirculated quality.

 

Packaging
