1976 (1876-) Canada Double Dollar Prestige Set - Library of Parliament


Specimen 50% silver $1 coin commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the completion of the Library of Parliament. The attractive building was the only part of the original centre block of the Parliament Buildings that was saved during the disastrous fire in 1916. It is still in use and is a popular tourist attraction in Ottawa.



Royal Canadian Mint issued Prestige Set comes in black cardboard box with maple leaf, book type with clasp. Red satin inside, hinged black plastic 7-hole display, encapsulated coins - coloured flocked jackets.

Face Value: Set - Included are the (2) $1, 50 cent, 25 cent, 10 cent, 5 cent, 1 cent coin.
