2017 (1867-) Canadian 10-Cent Wings of Peace 150th Anniv Dime Special Wrap Coin Roll

The 2017 Wings of Peace is the most recent commemorative issue of the 10-cent coin. As part of the My Canada, My Inspiration collection commemorating CANADA 150, it features a reverse design by Amy Choi of Calgary, Alta., and highlights Canada’s reputation as a peacekeeping nation. Instead of a traditional olive branch, the stylized dove clutches a maple leaf that stands as a symbol of hope, peace and good faith.

Design

The obverse design by Dora de Pedry-Hunt and Ago Aarand depicts the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in right profile, when she was 77 years old. It is surrounded with the inscription "ELIZABETH II D • G • REGINA". The RCM Maple Leaf privy sits under the bust.

This coin, designed by Amy Choi, depicts an airborne maple leaf that is clutched in the beak of a dove and forms the bird’s wings in one continuous flow. It is surrounded with the facial value, the year of issue and the inscription "CANADA".

Packaging

Each roll contains 50 Royal Canadian Mint issued 2017 (1867-) 10-Cent Wings of Peace 100th Anniv dimes in original unopened condition.
Coins come wrapped in commemorative CANADA 150 special paper wrapping.
