1.5x1.5 mini cardboard flip coin holders (a smaller option from the 2x2 coin holders) are a 1 1/2-inch by 1 1/2-inch square cardboard holder meant to protect coins from being touched, dropped, or scratched. Holders are designed with one (or more) circle center-cut with a clear, protective Mylar plastic film adhered to the inside. When folded over and stapled, your coin sits securely in place and is conveniently viewable on both sides.
The 1.5x1.5 mini cardboard flip coin holders supplied from Coins Unlimited are constructed of high quality, brilliant white board with Mylar - a chemically, non-reactive clear film which won't tear or scratch easily, is dust-proof and resistant to moisture.
How to use a 1.5x1.5 Mini Cardboard Flip Coin Holder
- Select a 1.5x1.5 cardboard flip coin holder with the appropriate window diameter for your coin.
- Center your coin within the circular window opening (on the film side).
- Fold the cardboard coin holder in half covering both sides of your coin and temporarily holding coin in place.
- Carefully staple the coin holder together (approx 3 - 4 staples) being careful not to nick your coin or pierce the film window with a staple. With a little practice you'll have no trouble centering your coins.
- (Optional) Mark the brilliant white side with your coin's year of issue, country, grade, and/or value.
