1995 Canadian $1 Peacekeeping/United Nations 50th Anniv Loonie Dollar Coin (Brilliant Uncirculated)
A portion of the Peacekeeping Monument - The Reconciliation - is featured on the 1995 circulating dollar commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the United Nations and honours the Canadian men and women who have served as United Nations peacekeepers.
Design
The reverse design features a representation of the Peacekeeping Monument in Ottawa, Canada and on the outer periphery are the words "CANADA" and "DOLLAR".
The obverse, designed by Dora de Pedery Hunt, was the same as the previous Loonie series with the exception of a dual date (the date on normal dollar coins is on the reverse).
Packaging
All Canadian circulated $1 dollar circulation coins originate from an original roll and are in brilliant uncirculated condition.
