Coin depicts the design of King George V (grandfather of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II) with the Latin inscription:
GEORGIVS V REX ET IND:IMP meaning "George V, the King and Emperor of India."
Reverse
Coin design is a continuation of the previous Victorian one-cent piece featuring leaves.
