To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the pure silver maple leaf bullion coin, the Royal Canadian Mint released a Limited Issue Fifty Dollar Silver Maple Leaf coin struck in .9999 fine silver weighing ten troy ounces. The coins edge inscription reads: 10th Anniversary
The reverse depicts the Maple Leaf while the obverse has the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
